Ways We Help

Health Assistance
Helping The Community
CEXCI continues to extend health support to our host communities in Mankayan, Benguet. The CEXCI Head Office team has secured all the mandatory requirements to reach its host communities in Mankayan. They bring with them a non-contact infrared thermometer complete set with automatic alcohol dispenser and stand; face shields; face masks; and disinfectant alcohols. Mayor Frenzel A. Ayong receives the anti-COVID health kits.
The Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) is placed under GCQ starting this February 2021 as more cases of the virus continue to be recorded in northern Luzon. This leads to the tightening of border control and more strict entry requirements but our CEXCI team cannot be stopped in bringing support to Mankayan.
These health kits will help equip the municipality against COVID-19. We are in this together!

School Assistance
Reinforcing our Commitment
CEXCI’s New Normal Back to School Program 2020 - 2021.
Shifting to a different mode of learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic is really difficult especially for students and teachers that have limited resources to comply with the “new normal”. In response to this and to show support to our schools, teachers and students, CEXCI team gave out learning materials and anti-COVID kits to three public schools in the Municipality of Cervantes. Our goal is to provide a quality education through these basic supplies to students within our reach.
Cabaroan Elementary School, Comillas North Integrated School and Alternative Learning System (ALS) were equipped with 50 reams of bond papers and 23 bottles of Epson and Hp ink for students modular learning, including 10 liters alcohol, 3 boxes face mask and 2 thermal scanners for teacher’s use.
We are looking forward to another school year filled with great learning and great fun!

Walk for a Cause
Reinforcing our Commitment
The “Bayanihan Community Spirit” is very much alive in Cervantes, Ilocos Sur!
An exciting activity called “Walk for a Cause” to celebrate Women’s Month was enthusiastically participated in by the people of the community, men and women alike. With the theme: “We Make Change Work For Women. Juana Laban sa Pandemya, Kaya!, Cervantes LGU gamely walked from the Municipal Plaza to Aluling bridge and back followed by a Zumba dance at the Muniipal gym led by the Sanguniang Kabataan. Funds that were raised from the activities were given to a beneficiary with a brain tumor.
By coming together and using our resources to raise funds for this great cause, Cervantes is showing how BAYANIHAN is so much alive in our communities! Mabuhay Cervantenians!
